Access E3372 webui from AF23

Hello all,

I have an E3372h-153 dongle connected to Huawei AF23 sharing router. I changed the AF23 IP address to 192.168.2.1 (default is 192.168.8.1) but i can not access E3372 web address which is 192.168.8.1 . I should mention that I have mikrotik router in between. any help would be appreciated.

have u tried connecting directly to af23 ?

Maybe AF23 is switching hilink modem to normal mode, like other routers do, for instance d-link or dovado.
Check IP on AF23 Wan port. Is it hilinks IP or your providers IP ?

it's provider IP address.

so u have the answer.
Try asking huawei support if they have firmware for AF23 that is not switching modem.

I sent them an email 2 month ago but did not receive any reply

yeah, i know that pain.
That's why i'm using mod firmware on my e3372s and open-wrt on my tp-link. Works like a charm.

i have tp-link Tl-MR3220 how can i use open-wrt on that?
