Samsung Galaxy S26 leak: Colombia document lists S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra — not Pro or EdgeSEOUL, Jan 18

January 18, 2026
  • A Samsung Colombia promotional PDF mentions the “Galaxy S26”, “Galaxy S26 +”, and “Galaxy S26 Ultra”.
  • The document leaves out the “Pro” and “Edge” variants that had appeared in earlier rumours.
  • The launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet, though tech outlets are eyeing late February.

A financing promotion document on Samsung Electronics’ Colombia site reveals three Galaxy S26 variants: “Galaxy S26,” “Galaxy S26 +,” and “Galaxy S26 Ultra.” Notably, there’s no reference to “Pro” or “Edge” models. The PDF, released by Samsung Electronics Colombia S.A., details a 0% interest installment plan available from Jan. 10 through March 31.

This matters because Samsung’s Galaxy S series remains its flagship Android line and one of the rare phone families that consistently commands premium prices. Names aren’t mere tags; they influence how carriers market the phones and where customers decide to upgrade.

The “Pro” discussion suggested a fresh tiering approach, more in line with Apple’s strategy. Meanwhile, rumors about the “Edge” pointed to a slimmer, design-focused model that might replace the typical Plus version. With a leak this near the launch period, surprises seem unlikely.

The Colombia annex names several devices, such as the foldables “Galaxy Z Fold7 5G” and “Galaxy Z Flip7 5G,” along with some older Galaxy S and A series models. It doesn’t include specs or prices—just a list of products linked to qualifying installment plans.

TechRadar, referencing SamMobile, reported that the Colombia PDF confirmed the standard “S26/Plus/Ultra” lineup, casting doubt on an initial launch for both an “S26 Pro” rebrand and an “S26 Edge” variant. The article also mentioned an online post forecasting a wave of “official renderings” — essentially marketing images. Leaks suggest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chips will split the lineup by region. February 25 is considered the most likely date for the reveal, with sales possibly starting in March. TechRadar

SamMobile’s Asif Iqbal Shaik noted that Samsung Colombia had “indirectly confirmed” the three model names in its PDF, while the absence of “Galaxy S26 Pro” and “Galaxy S26 Edge” labels hinted those versions might not launch with the main phones. He also mentioned an Edge-branded device could still make an appearance later this year. SamMobile

Android Authority reports that a Colombian promotion document “reveals the names of every model in the Galaxy S26 series,” listing S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra as the launch lineup. It also echoes earlier rumors about battery sizes—4,300 mAh, 4,900 mAh, and 5,000 mAh respectively for the trio—and suggests Samsung will continue the Snapdragon/Exynos divide depending on the region. Samsung sticks with a tried-and-true trio for its flagship, going head-to-head with Apple’s latest iPhones and Google’s Pixel devices, but leaves the door open for a fourth model down the line. In the premium Android space, the Ultra now stands as the key battleground, where competitors push camera improvements, faster charging, and fresh on-device AI to capture buyers’ attention.

The Colombia document reads more like marketing fine print than an official product launch announcement and might just be using placeholder names for promotional or internal planning purposes. Samsung could still adjust the lineup at the last minute, introduce an Edge variant down the line, or shift release dates. So far, no official details about the Galaxy S26 have been confirmed.
