Samsung Galaxy S26 leak ‘confirms’ the lineup — and two models are missing

LONDON, January 20, 2026, 22:23 (GMT)

  • A financing document from Samsung Colombia reveals the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra models.
  • The document makes no reference to a Galaxy S26 Pro or a Galaxy S26 Edge
  • This leak comes just as Samsung gears up to reveal its next flagship phones in late February

Samsung accidentally revealed its upcoming Galaxy S26 series in a promo doc from its Colombian branch. The list shows three models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra—no sign of the widely speculated “Pro” or “Edge” versions.

The leak arrives just as Samsung gears up for its next “Unpacked” event, where it typically unveils new Galaxy S models. This clarifies ongoing rumors about a possible shake-up in the flagship lineup. (nextpit)

The missing names are significant since earlier leaks suggested a shake-up: the base model might be rebranded as the “Galaxy S26 Pro,” while the Plus could be replaced by an “S26 Edge,” according to tech site T3. (T3)

The Colombia document, dated Jan. 9, outlines Spanish-language terms and conditions for a 0% interest financing offer linked to local credit cards. In an annex detailing eligible products, the S26 trio is listed alongside current Galaxy S-series phones and foldables.

A 0% interest deal allows shoppers to break down payments into instalments without any added interest, provided they follow the promotion’s terms.

Samsung has long applied the “Edge” label to its slimmer, design-focused models. At the 2025 launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge, mobile chief TM Roh described it in a company statement as “more than a slim smartphone.” (Samsung Mobile Press)

Apple stepped into the thin-phone market with the launch of the iPhone Air in September 2025. “You really have to hold it to believe it’s real,” said Apple hardware chief John Ternus at the unveiling. (Apple)

Samsung’s rumored S26 lineup—if it keeps the S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra labels—would follow its usual flagship formula. The Plus would slot in as the larger-screen option, bridging the base model and the Ultra.

Promotional materials often trail behind product schedules. Samsung might roll out an Edge-style version down the line or tweak the branding ahead of launch, making today’s document more of a snapshot than a definitive lineup.

At present, the Colombian annex provides a rare glimpse of company-generated evidence in an area typically dominated by anonymous supply-chain leaks.

The document highlights a familiar lineup of three phones, and not much beyond that — perhaps intentionally.
