DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Vlogging Camera Launches With 4K/240fps, 107GB Storage and No U.S. Release Yet

SHENZHEN, China, April 16, 2026, 23:40 (UTC+8)

  • DJI has rolled out its Osmo Pocket 4, adding 4K/240fps video recording, 107GB of internal storage, and improved subject tracking.
  • Pre-orders have launched across Europe and the UK, with shipments expected to begin April 22. Pricing sits between £429 and £549.
  • DJI isn’t releasing the Pocket 4 in the U.S. just yet, citing a pending authorization application.

DJI rolled out its Osmo Pocket 4 on Thursday, touting 4K video at a swift 240 frames per second and 107GB of internal storage. U.S. shoppers, though, won’t find it on shelves yet. Pre-orders launched across Europe and the UK, and shipping is set for April 22, according to the company.

The launch drops into a crowded creator-camera space. GoPro rolled out its Mission 1 series on April 14, touting a 1-inch sensor and support for 8K60 video. The debut comes just ahead of the NAB 2026 broadcast show. Senior vice president of product Pablo Lema called it a move “into the premium end of the digital imaging market.” GoPro

DJI is touting the Pocket 4’s new 1-inch stacked CMOS sensor, promising 4K slow-motion video at up to 240 fps — that’s twice the max slow-mo rate of the Pocket 3. There’s 14 stops of dynamic range here, letting the camera pull details from both the brightest skies and the deepest shadows. Editors get 10-bit D-Log, too, for a flatter color profile and more flexibility in post.

Still photos now top out at 37 megapixels, a jump from the Pocket 3’s 9.4 megapixels. Storage sees a more substantial update—DJI’s latest model packs 107GB onboard, which the company says covers around 220 minutes of 4K/60fps video, or close to 600 minutes shooting 1080p at 24fps. There’s still support for microSD cards up to 1TB.

Most of the new features seem aimed at solo shooters. DJI’s Pocket 4 now sports a zoom button, a custom button, and a 5D joystick tucked below its swiveling 2-inch OLED display. ActiveTrack 7.0, the company’s updated tracking software, can lock onto people, pets, or vehicles—even at 4x zoom. The camera hooks up directly to DJI’s Mic 2, Mic 3, and Mic Mini transmitters, offering up to four-channel audio.

The Essential Combo kicks off at £429, with the Standard Combo going for £445. At the top end, the Creator Combo—bundling in a wide-angle lens, mini tripod, fill light, and a DJI Mic 3 transmitter—lands at £549. DJI confirmed official sales, including shipping, are set to begin on April 22.

DJI spokesperson Daisy Kong told The Verge, “The Osmo Pocket 4 will not be available in the US market as the application for authorization is still pending.” So, for now, U.S. buyers won’t get access when it launches. The Verge

This marks a bigger shift than the previous round. DJI rolled out the Pocket 3 in October 2023, packing a 1-inch sensor and 4K/120fps video. U.S. prices began at $519.

Questions remain. Fresh leaks over the past two days suggested a dual-lens Pocket 4 Pro might be coming, yet on Thursday DJI rolled out just the standard version—leaving some potential buyers on hold. The lack of a U.S. launch just muddies things further.
