Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscribers have only hours left on Monday to add April’s Monthly Games — Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream — before the offer is replaced on May 5 by a new slate led by EA Sports FC 26.
The deadline matters because PlayStation Plus Monthly Games are a claim-window benefit, not an open catalog shelf. Once added, the games remain in a member’s library for as long as that account keeps an active PlayStation Plus subscription, according to Sony’s PlayStation Plus page.
The rotation also lands in a tighter subscription market. Microsoft sells Xbox Game Pass around a large, shifting library, with new games added monthly and some titles available on day one, making Sony’s monthly PS Plus lineup one of its more visible tools to keep players checking the service.
Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Adam Michel, director of content acquisition and operations, wrote that May’s lineup lets players “show your skills on the pitch” in EA Sports FC 26, “battle monsters” in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and “fight your way across a 2D world” in Nine Sols. The three titles go live for all PlayStation Plus members on Tuesday. PlayStation.Blog
The May list gives Sony a broad spread: football, a soulslike — a hard action role-playing game built around punishing combat and repeated attempts — and a 2D action-platformer. MisterGadget reported that EA Sports FC 26 will also come with a PlayStation Plus Icons Pack for Ultimate Team players.
April’s outgoing trio had run from April 7 through May 4. Sony described Lords of the Fallen as a dark fantasy action RPG, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered as a collection of Lara Croft’s first three adventures, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream as a co-op action game with raid-style fights.
But the benefit is not open-ended. Everyeye.it noted that the April titles can be downloaded and launched only while the account has an active subscription, and said Sony had not yet announced the May additions for the separate Extra and Premium Game Catalog, the mid-tier and top-tier libraries that usually update later in the month.
For subscribers, the practical move is simple: add April’s games to the library before the Monday cutoff, then check the PlayStation Store again on May 5 for EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols. The claim window is the product here. Missing it means waiting, paying, or hoping for another rotation.
