Oil drop hits Santos as rest of ASX pushes higher
Santos shares closed at A$7.36 on Wednesday, down 1.21%, as energy stocks slumped amid easing oil prices. The S&P/ASX 200 rose 0.5% to a 20-day high, but energy was the weakest sector, dropping 2.2%. Santos appointed Kate Vidgen to its board as an independent non-executive director, effective June 17.
