Atlassian Layoffs 2026: Jira Maker Cuts 1,600 Jobs as AI Pressure Builds
Atlassian will cut about 1,600 jobs, or 10% of its workforce, as it shifts spending to AI and enterprise sales. CTO Rajeev Rajan will leave March 31. The restructuring will cost $225 million to $236 million, with 40% of affected staff in North America and 30% in Australia.
