Huawei Pura 90 Ultra leaks today: Horizontal camera bar concept, 200MP SmartSens zoom camera, and massive battery rumors (Jan. 14, 2026)

Leaks on January 14 suggest Huawei’s upcoming Pura 90 Ultra may feature a horizontal camera bar with a triangular lens layout and a 200MP periscope telephoto using SmartSens’ SCC80XS sensor. Reports also mention a 50MP main sensor, Kirin 9030 chip, HarmonyOS 6.1, and a battery up to 7,000mAh. Launch is rumored for May 2026 in China. No official confirmation from Huawei.

HarmonyOS 6 Cleans Up the Notification Center: Huawei’s “Hidden Status Bar Icons” Change Lands as 6.0.0.120 Updates Expand (Dec 16, 2025)

Huawei’s HarmonyOS 6.0.0.120 update on Mate 80 phones now hides status bar icons in the Notification Center, leaving only carrier info visible. Huawei will launch the Mate 80 series and Mate X7 foldable in China on November 25, 2025. The Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design features 20GB RAM, surpassing Samsung’s expected Galaxy S26 Ultra maximum.
