Marks & Spencer Starts £340 Million Warehouse Build as M&S Races to Win the Weekly Shop
Marks & Spencer has started building a £340 million, 1.3 million sq ft automated food distribution centre in Northamptonshire, set to open in 2029 and serve over 200 stores. The move follows a £67.5 million deal to buy a former ASOS warehouse in Staffordshire. M&S shares closed up 0.78% at 311.50 pence after the news. Full-year results are due May 20.
