iPhone 18 Pro leak says Dynamic Island could shrink 35% — and Face ID may move under the screen

Leaks indicate the iPhone 18 Pro will have a slimmer Dynamic Island cutout, enabled by new OLED panels and Face ID sensors hidden under the display. Apple shares dipped 0.2% in premarket trading. Supply-chain sources say Samsung Display and LG Display will supply the upgraded screens, possibly excluding China’s BOE. The redesigned cutout could shrink to about 13.5 mm, down from 20.8 mm on the iPhone 17 Pro.
