Chord Energy down on dividend date as oil swings
Chord Energy shares fell 2.6% to $136.50 Friday morning as the company paid a $1.30 per share dividend to holders of record May 20. Brent crude slipped 84 cents to $94.19 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate dropped $1.13 to $91.91. Peer oil producers EOG, Diamondback, and APA also declined. Trading volume in Chord stayed light early in the session.
