First Interstate BancSystem Stock Is Back in Focus After Shelf Filing and Analyst Cut
First Interstate BancSystem filed an automatic shelf registration Tuesday, allowing it to sell various securities in the future. Shares closed up 1.8% at $36.13 after D.A. Davidson downgraded the stock to Neutral and cut its price target. The filing comes ahead of Wednesday’s shareholder meeting in Billings, Montana. First-quarter net income rose to $60.2 million from $50.2 million a year earlier.
