JAKKS Pacific Dips as Dividend Date Draws Attention
JAKKS Pacific shares fell 3.1% to $22.16 Friday after trading ex-dividend, lagging Mattel and Hasbro. First-quarter net sales dropped 6% to $106.7 million, with a net loss of $4.3 million, or 37 cents per share. International sales rose 38% to $29 million, offsetting weaker North America demand. The company’s 25-cent dividend is payable June 29 to holders as of May 29.
