Saia gains after new freight numbers, target hikes still tempered by profit concerns
Saia shares rose 1.7% to $479.42 Friday morning on Nasdaq, outperforming the broader market as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 ETFs fell. Second-quarter LTL tonnage per workday is up 7.6% year over year. Wells Fargo raised its target to $490, BMO to $470, and Benchmark maintained a $500 target. Saia recently opened new terminals, expanding its network to 216 locations.
