Willis Lease Drops as Activist Battle Pushes June Vote Toward Dilution Showdown
Willis Lease Finance shares fell 1.6% to $171.79 Wednesday after activist group Four Tree Island Advisory urged investors to reject a proposed share count increase. The group wants the company to cancel a 300,000-share option grant, sell a superyacht and a jet, and limit Willis-family equity awards. A virtual shareholder vote on the measure is set for June 23. Proposal 2 needs 80% approval to pass.
