Nintendo released version 1.6.1 of its GameCube – Nintendo Classics app for Switch 2 on Wednesday, fixing a bug that caused Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness to crash and risk save data loss. The update began rolling out in Japan, but English-language support pages still listed the issue as under investigation. GameCube titles remain exclusive to Switch 2’s Expansion Pack subscription.
