Argan stock jumps again before the open after 14% surge; options turn busy
Argan Inc shares climbed 1.8% to $430 in premarket trading Thursday, extending a 13.7% surge from the previous session. The company’s backlog reached $3.0 billion in December, driven by new Texas gas projects. Options trading spiked Wednesday, with 2,358 contracts exchanged. Director John R. Jeffrey Jr sold 5,000 shares on Jan. 27 at $360.78 each.
