Arriva to Add 809 New UK Buses in £340 Million Fleet Overhaul, With Wakefield First to Benefit
Arriva confirmed a £340 million UK bus fleet renewal, ordering 809 new vehicles, over half fully electric. The company has already launched 50 new buses in West Yorkshire, with 164 more ordered from Alexander Dennis for delivery this year. Wakefield will see new and upgraded services from May 17. Nearly 20% of Arriva’s regional fleet will be replaced within 18 months.
