Broadcom Wi‑Fi bug can knock 5GHz networks offline — ASUS ships a fix as NETGEAR posts new January alerts

A vulnerability in Broadcom Wi‑Fi chipsets allows attackers within radio range to disable a router’s 5GHz network and disconnect clients using a single crafted Wi‑Fi frame.
