  • Tesla Q4 Beats Estimates; Cybercab, Semi on Track for 1H26, xAI Investment
    January 28, 2026, 8:08 PM EST. Tesla reported Q4 earnings that beat estimates: adjusted EPS $0.50 on revenue of $24.9 billion, vs. $0.44 and $24.5 billion expected. GAAP EPS was $0.24; net income $840 million. Operating margin 5.7%, gross margin 20.1%. The company said Cybercab and Semi production will begin in 1H26 as it bets on autonomous vehicles and robotics. It disclosed roughly $2 billion in xAI funding behind the Grok model. For 2026, Tesla will expand infrastructure for clean energy and autonomous transport, and plans to more than double onsite compute in Texas using H100 equivalents. It will begin volume production of Megapack 3, Megablock, and the next-gen Roadster; and produce 4680 cells with dry-electrode chemistry for Model Y. Analysts will watch the Robotaxi rollout.
