The RedMagic 11 Pro is the first mass-produced smartphone with a visible active liquid cooling system, featuring a transparent rear tube showing circulating blue coolant. The device uses a piezoelectric pump and combines liquid cooling, a 24,000 RPM fan, and a large vapor chamber for sustained high performance. In stress tests, it maintained about 80% performance and reached a peak temperature of 56°C.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi K90 series in China on Oct. 23, 2025, with the base K90 priced at ¥2,599 (~$361) and the flagship K90 Pro Max at ¥3,999 (~$555). The K90 Pro Max features a 6.9" 2K AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 7,560 mAh battery, triple 50MP rear cameras, and Bose-tuned stereo speakers. Rising memory chip costs have pushed prices higher than last year, Xiaomi said. Global sales are expected under the Poco F8 Ultra name.

OnePlus confirmed the OnePlus 15 will launch in China on October 27 with a 7,300 mAh "Glacier Battery" and 120W wired charging. The phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a 6.78-inch, 165 Hz OLED display. At least three color options will be offered, including a new purple. Global release is expected in mid-November.

Huawei is expected to launch the Pura 90 series in April 2026, returning to its original spring schedule, according to huaweicentral.com. Leaks suggest the Pura 90 Ultra will feature a 1/1.28-inch main camera sensor, a flat OLED display, and a new 5nm Kirin chip. The battery may reach 7,300 mAh, the largest yet for Huawei. The series will use Huawei’s own XMAGE imaging system, ending its Leica partnership.

Samsung teased a triple-folding phone for release by late 2025 as its foldable sales jumped 50% year-over-year. Apple fixed a major Apple Intelligence bug that left iPhone 17 models partly unusable for weeks, and addressed “Scratchgate” display complaints with MagSafe ring covers.
