  • Samsung Galaxy S26 pricing shifts: base models up, Ultra cheaper, per Swedish data
January 29, 2026, 11:10 PM EST. According to WinFuture, Swedish dealer data show Samsung plans to raise the Galaxy S26 base price by about €100, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra would be roughly €100 cheaper than the previous Ultra. The base 256GB model is listed at SEK 11,990 in Sweden, representing a €100 increase over the 256GB S25, and Samsung is moving to a higher floor by dropping the lower-storage option. The Ultra already reflects a higher floor. The report notes regional price translation and suggests prices could influence demand toward the FE or older models. The shift comes amid RAM scarcity and AI memory demand. Samsung is also touted to add upgrades such as a Privacy display and refined cameras and battery, with pre-order perks under review.
