Apple stock slips on West Virginia iCloud lawsuit as PCE inflation report looms
Apple shares fell 1.5% to $260.58 in after-hours trading after West Virginia sued the company, alleging iCloud enables distribution of child sexual abuse material. The state argued Apple cannot claim to be a passive conduit. Apple said it is innovating to protect children. The company also announced a deal with EverPass Media to stream Apple TV’s live sports in bars and hotels.
