Samsung unveils the Exynos 2600, its first smartphone SoC built on a 2nm Gate-All-Around process, promising major gains in performance, efficiency, and thermal behavior. The 10-core CPU targets sustained, power-efficient performance, boasting up to a 39% CPU uplift over the Exynos 2500. The Xclipse 960 GPU doubles compute and increases ray tracing by 50%, while the debuting ENSS AI upscaling and frame generation aims for smoother gaming with minimal battery hit. An upgraded NPU supposedly delivers a 113% AI performance boost, and with SME2 support, on-device generative AI workloads expand. The integrated ISP is 50% more power-efficient, supports cameras up to 320MP, and enables 8K recording at 30FPS and 4K at 120FPS with HDR, plus APV codec. The Heat Path Block reduces thermal resistance by up to 16%.
