Co se dnes stalo

Google zveřejnil kompletní zdrojový kód Android 16 QPR1 v AOSP. Oficiální změnu manifestu můžete vidět—„Update default revision to android16-qpr1-release“—v repozitáři platform/manifest, a aktualizovaný default.xml nyní ukazuje na tuto větev pro android-latest-release. [5]

Tento upload odpovídá několika zprávám z Android tisku a vývojářské komunity, které upozorňují, že kód QPR1 je konečně veřejný po několikatýdenní prodlevě. [6]

Proč je tento release důležitý

Historicky Google zveřejňoval nové větve Androidu do AOSP během několika dnů po stabilním vydání. U Androidu 16 QPR1 dorazil kód asi dva měsíce poté, co Pixely dostaly aktualizaci—výjimka, která nechala správce čekat. [10]

  • Vylepšení ekosystému: Řada vnitřních oprav typických pro QPR, které nezvyšují veřejné úrovně SDK, ale ano zasahují do služeb, SELinux politiky, Soong pravidel a verzí APEX—nyní dohledatelné po jednotlivých commitech. [14]
