  • Punahou Students Lead AI Workshop for Educators at SOTF Conference

Three Punahou students-Tahan Bapna '27, Vincent Lau '28, and Coco Heahlke '28-led an interactive session at the Schools of the Future Conference (SOTF), titled AI in Any Classroom: Student-led Activities You Can Run Tomorrow. Facilitated by Robotics Director Joe Baffoe, the workshop guided educators through hands-on AI strategies using tools already in schools. The students showed how personalized learning and project-based assignments can be enhanced by AI while addressing its current limitations and the importance of ethical use. Attendees left with practical classroom activities and a student-developed framework for integrating AI to support deeper learning. The session underscored Punahou School's commitment to student-led innovation and thoughtful technology use in education.
