February 7, 2026, 10:34 PM EST. SpaceX resumed Falcon 9 flights with a Saturday launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, deploying 25 Starlink satellites. Liftoff occurred at 3:58 p.m. EDT, and the satellites (Group 17-33) were deployed about an hour later. The mission reused Booster 1088 on its 13th flight, which landed on the drone ship 'Of Course I Still Love You' in the Pacific. The previous Feb. 2 mission experienced an off-nominal upper stage condition when a gas bubble prevented the transfer burn; the stage passivated and reentered about 10.5 hours later over the Southern Indian Ocean. The FAA had cleared SpaceX to resume launches earlier in the week. The Starlink constellation now numbers more than 9,600 active satellites, per tracker Jonathan McDowell. Saturday's launch marked SpaceX's 15th flight this year.
