Samsung Electronics rose as much as 5.4% in Seoul after reports it is seeking $700 per HBM4 chip, about 30% above HBM3E prices. S&P 500 dropped 0.28% and Nasdaq lost 0.31%. Investors are watching Friday’s U.S. PCE inflation data for signals on interest rates.
