ParaZero said its DefendAir Counter-UAS demonstrated 100% interception in live field demonstrations against FPV kamikaze drones and DJI FlyCart heavy-lift smuggling drones. The trials used a patented net-based, non-explosive interception to neutralize both platforms with complete reliability, building on prior tests against fast-moving multirotor threats. FPV drones are low-cost and highly maneuverable; DefendAir's net-launching mechanism intercepted them in flight, offering a soft-kill option. In a separate demo, a FlyCart was captured in flight with its cargo intact and no collateral damage, a benefit for ports and borders. CEO Ariel Alon said security forces need reliable, scalable, safe solutions. DefendAir remains modular-handheld, turret, and drone-mounted-and designed to integrate with detection, radar, and command systems.
