CEO Elon Musk said the service started in Austin with no safety monitor in the car, and he told Davos the network should be "very, very widespread" in the US by end-2026. The company has previously run limited trips with employees on board. Musk also flagged the planned sale of its Optimus humanoid robot next year. In parallel, Intel shares tumbled about 13% before the bell after a fourth-quarter beat but weak first-quarter guidance; the company projected revenue of $11.7-12.7 billion with breakeven adjusted EPS, versus analyst expectations around $12.5 billion and 5 cents. Revenue from data centre and AI chips rose 9% to $4.7 billion, while client computing fell 7% to $8.2 billion. Intel posted a net loss of $600 million.
