Shell Plc Just Put a $23.8 Billion Number on Its Global Tax Footprint
Shell Plc reported $23.84 billion in payments to governments for 2025, including $10.04 billion in taxes and $8.04 billion in production entitlements. Brazil received the largest share at $4.25 billion. The disclosure comes days before Shell’s May 19 annual meeting and follows the company’s $3 billion share buyback announcement.
