Panasonic will sell the Lumix S 40mm F2 full-frame L-Mount lens for $399.99, with shipments starting in early June. The 144-gram lens targets compact bodies like the Lumix S9. Panasonic also announced plans for a compact wide prime and a large-aperture telephoto zoom, but did not specify release dates. Preorders for the new lens are open in black and silver.
