Cranswick Rises on Earnings Beat, With Middle East Risk in Focus
Cranswick shares rose 6.9% to 5,580p after the UK food producer reported adjusted pretax profit up 11.2% to £220 million, beating analyst estimates. Revenue climbed 9.5% to £2.98 billion, with poultry revenue up 13.9%. The company raised its total dividend by 11.4% to 112.5p a share. Cranswick committed £56 million to expand poultry capacity by summer 2027.
