PolyPid Stock Barely Moves After FDA Filing, But a 2027 Decision Now Looms
PolyPid Ltd. shares rose 0.4% to $4.74 Thursday after the company completed its U.S. New Drug Application for D-PLEX100, an infection-prevention drug for colorectal surgery. The FDA is expected to decide on approval in early 2027. The filing is based on a Phase 3 trial showing a 60% reduction in surgical site infections versus standard care. PolyPid reported $10.9 million in cash at the end of March and a first-quarter net loss of $7.7 million.
