Zuckerberg to testify as Meta, TikTok and YouTube face first youth addiction trial
A Los Angeles jury will hear claims this week that Meta, TikTok, and YouTube designed their platforms to addict children and harm mental health. Plaintiff K.G.M., 19, alleges the apps worsened her depression and suicidal thoughts. Snap settled with the plaintiff on confidential terms. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is expected to testify.
