Walmart on track to offer tap-to-pay at 5,217 U.S. stores and clubs
Walmart Inc. is set to roll out tap-to-pay at some U.S. checkouts on Monday. The retailer says the upgrade will hit all 5,217 Walmart stores and Sam’s Club outlets by the end of the year. This is a full-scale payment shift for Walmart, not a test run.
