Silver price rebounds after soft U.S. CPI; SLV ETF and silver miners jump
Spot silver jumped 3.2% to $77.55 an ounce Friday, rebounding after an 8.9% drop Thursday, as softer U.S. CPI data boosted expectations for a June Fed rate cut. Treasury yields slipped, and silver-linked stocks rallied, with the iShares Silver Trust up 3.8%. U.S. markets will close Monday for Presidents Day.
