Macquarie Group posted a full-year profit of A$4.85 billion, up 30%, its second-best result ever, driven by strong commodity trading and asset sales. Half-year profit hit a record A$3.19 billion, up 93%. The stock closed at A$239.23 in Sydney on Friday, down 1.09%. Net operating income rose 13% to A$19.48 billion, while return on equity increased to 14%.
