Instagram experienced an outage Tuesday morning, with over 2,800 users reporting issues by 11:39 a.m. PST, according to Downdetector. Most complaints involved the mobile app. By Thursday morning, reports had returned to normal levels. The cause of the outage remains unknown.

The FDA ordered a clinical hold on Regenxbio’s RGX-111 and RGX-121 gene therapy trials after a child treated with RGX-111 was found to have a brain tumor. Regenxbio shares fell about 20% in morning trading. The company said no tumors have been found in other trial participants and is investigating any link to the therapy. Regenxbio has not yet received the FDA’s full clinical hold letter.

C3.ai is in merger talks with Automation Anywhere, which could allow the private software firm to go public via reverse merger, The Information reported. C3.ai shares rose about 4% in early U.S. trading after the report. Neither company has commented. Automation Anywhere was valued at $6.8 billion in 2019.
