Aluminum and Sulfur Batteries

Félre az akkumulátorokkal: Az alumínium- és kénalapú akkumulátorok energiaválságot robbantanak ki

Lyten announced in October 2024 it will build the world’s first Li–S battery plant in Nevada, targeting 10 GWh annual capacity by 2027 with over $1 billion investment. A January 2024 study reported an aluminum–sulfur battery retaining 85.4% capacity after 1,400 cycles at 85°C. In 2015, Stanford’s aluminum-ion prototype recharged in one minute and lasted over 7,500 cycles.
