Can anyone tell me how to unlock a Huawei E3372 modem?

When I insert my O2 SIM the following web page pops up:

Install fc serial drivers (for instance from my mediafire link below) and try to detect modem in dc unlocker program (press magnifying glass button in it).
When modem will be detected, type at the bottom: AT^SFM=1
If answer OK, then: AT^NVWREX=8268,0,12,1,0,0,0,2,0,0,0,A,0,0,0
if OK then AT^SFM=0 and restart.
It's the easiest and universal unlocking method.

There is no login at serial port.
As you can see - sim lock status is: unlocked. So maybe this command wasn't necessary.
Anyway type at^sfm=0 and restart device. Then try to put other sim card.

Something happened when I ran the previous command and now the modem isn't recognised

Under Control Panel -> Device Manager there are three devices named HUAWEI_MOBILE under Other Devices and they don't have device drivers.

Previously when inserting the modem with the O2 sim a web page popped up - http://o2.dongle/html/mobileconnection.html but this no longer happens. However I do get a blinking blue light from the modem when it has the O2 sim installed, but i don't see that when the Vectra sim is present, there is only a blinking green light. At the moment I can't access the modem. Should I uninstall the FC serial driver?

Your modem is still in factory mode (at^sfm=1). Can you see modems drive letter in windows? If so use this script http://www.mediafire.com/file/jexg56a7n ... y.zip/file
Also removing battery for few minutes may help.

No, there is no drive letter which appears when I insert the modem. I did remove the battery for a few minutes but it made no difference.

When I insert the modem, a Windows error msg pops up saying the device is ready for use but drivers are missing and that I should install them.

Should I insert a micro SDHC card in the modem and install the program you mentioned on it?

I have another Huawei E3372 modem - a MegaFon M150-2. This one does come with a virtual CD drive. Can I turn this into a Hilink modem?

That 'tutorial' is a thread with almost 1000 posts! (And in Polish....)

It looks like I need to install a HUAWEI_DataCard_Driver but there are four so I don't know where to start.

Read only the first one Google translate or ask me. Please note taht it works only for firmware < 2x.315.xx
Install the newest (highest numbers) datacard driver + if you have windows 8 or 10 the also registry patch called bos_solution2.

Commands worked so now I can generate oem and nck codes. OEM is needed for changing settings or firmwares, NCK is unlock code.
OEM is 08779733
NCK is 74182432
So, to unlock your modem just type command:
AT^CARDLOCK="74182432"
