Even if the play sim card should be enabled for 5g connection at the moment it run only on LTE +, I'm disappointed by the poor performance of t-mobile 5g beside a lower ping it is like the other operators.

which operator is better to choose? unfortunately play offer the 500gb package only with their hardware, on t-mobile or orange i could buy any router would suits more the situation, Orange moreover offer an unlimited time contract, what is the common opinion of the operators? which will be more reliable and won't for example cut down my speed to save bandwith? on t-mobile most probably i would take the magenta, while on orange internet for offices at 999GB.

in my situation would make sense buy an external modem like the huawei cpe pro win (i'm open to suggestions)? they say that the 5g (the real one on high frequencies) will earn a lot from a direct view of the antenna, will the 5g technology being implemented in a reasonable amount of time in my zone? or maybe it is better buy just a indoor lte router like the 818 and drop the 5g subject?

I have too Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2 and is great, if you live in city there is no point bout worst router CPE WIN (maybe is outdoor but has only 1GE so speeds are limited by ethernet ).
Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2 is better in 4G and 5G but if you don't have money you can buy previous version of Huawei 5G CPE Pro from https://www.router-switch.com/huawei-5g-cpe-pro.html and you have 5G but only real 5G after Auction and n41 from Plus in Poland, great 4G 5CC LTE + , and ports ts9 for antenna

First now we have 5G DSS and works 4G LTE+ works better this is normal even in USA with Verizon and iPhone 12.
You can buy PLay card " internet na karta 100GB by 50zł"

Play from 1 of January will be refarming 2100 MHz from 3g to 4G/5G We will have B1/N1 15 Mhz but in Agregation 4CC will have 55Mhz spectrum so speed will be improve.

You can rotate Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2 in different places and angle to improve signal.
In my apartment in one place in have 100 Mbps but move 60cm router and I have 200 Mbps nad better signal.

I already bought the same package 50pln for 100giga, and this explain why play doesn't catch the 5g signal but it would hopefully in january,

at this point i don't know which operator choose, being the signal situation inside the house the following:

SINR 6dB 21dB 24dB

Orange seem to be the best as signal and general speed but i hear here on the forum that is not reliable and it won't implement 5g on internet contract for home, while play to have the 500giga package they require to buy the router from them, (seems to be the most expensive option and it bond 24 months no matter if internet it will be okay or not), T-mobile doesn't excell in any aspect but i know for sure that will be 5g signal here

opinion and suggestion on the carrier are welcome

IMHO (I'm not really experienced with mobile networking), you buy Huawei B818-263 and go for either T-Mobile or Orange. That's because you said that you have direct view at NetWorks! (T-Mobile / Orange) BTS and it's still fairly close to your location. B818 would allow you to aggregate all 4 LTE bands that T-Mobile offers and it's really a top-notch LTE router. And still half price of 5G router...
You can ask @Onken if he can have some good T-Mobile offer for you (he has some goodies, trust me).

All of you are right, the big doubt it is if buy something more future proof like the cpe pro2 or just do not care and stay with a state of the art LTE+
considering that all options will bond me for the next 2 years at least (T-mobile and Play) or just take the risk and go with orange.

AFAIK, it won't change much in 5G "coverage" for next 2-3 years. Service providers in Poland don't have even permission to use higher (target) 5G bands yet, and they will have them available around Q3/Q4 2021. Only then they will be able to actually start implementing real fast 5G. So there is no much benefit from buying 5G router right now.
Sure, you would be first one with "real" 5G when they will provide the service, however it may not happen in 2 years. Keep in mind that more powerful 5G modems/routers will appear in following years, so after 2-3 years you would still want to buy brand-new 5G router, e.g. to be able to aggregate multiple 5G bands and gain even better DL/UL rates.

soo most probably i will go for orange and buy the 818, it seems to be the most flexible solution, considering also the test of today 5g on t-mobile doesn't sem to have any impact on the network performance neither for speed or ping.
