The Federal Court published new evidence in the ACCC’s case against Woolworths over its “Prices Dropped” campaign, alleging the retailer misled shoppers on 266 products by temporarily raising prices before advertising discounts. Woolworths denies wrongdoing, arguing its signage was accurate. The case file was updated April 24. Woolworths’ MILKRUN brand will give away 20,000 grocery items from April 29 to May 2.
