Lloyds Banking Group Share Price Holds Near 93p as FCA Motor Finance Update Looms

Perth petrol prices will jump to an average 256.8 cents per litre on Wednesday, up 11 cents from Tuesday, according to FuelWatch. The gap between the cheapest and most expensive stations has widened to 39 cents per litre, with major chains lifting prices sharply. Only 22 outlets will sell below 240 cents per litre. Consumer Protection fined a Geraldton retailer this month for charging more than the notified price.

Road salt is making the GTA lights flicker — Alectra warns more outages may hit Vaughan and Peel

Alectra Utilities reported power outages and voltage flickers in York and Peel, blaming salt and de-icing residue as temperatures rise. The company warned more outages could occur and has deployed extra crews. In a separate move, Mississauga City Council approved expanded development-charge breaks for new rental units to encourage apartment construction.
