Rochdale Appoints Rachel Laver to Lead Growth Push as Police Impose 48-Hour Town Centre Order

Rachel Laver was named managing director of Rochdale Development Agency on Thursday, as Greater Manchester Police imposed a 48-hour dispersal order in Rochdale town centre following reports of anti-social behaviour and criminal damage. The Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing Centre, part of the Atom Valley cluster, is set to receive up to £15 million from the Good Growth Fund and aims for completion by summer 2026.
