Amazon is once again slashing prices across Google’s Pixel 10 lineup, with unlocked versions of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold all discounted by up to $300 in the latest wave of U.S. deals. These unlocked models come without carrier restrictions.
The timing is notable: Pixel 10 prices climbed late April, 9to5Toys noted, but these new cuts drag some models right back down to their spring-sale marks. Google’s own storefront, by contrast, hasn’t been handing out direct discounts on the phones, the same report said.
Discounts on the Pixel 10 Pro XL are scattered. According to Droid Life, some buyers can snag as much as $300 off, putting the 256GB Moonstone and Porcelain variants at $899. Other colorways get a $250 cut. The regular Pixel 10 Pro? That one’s $250 off, bringing the 128GB version down to $749.
Amazon’s wider lineup now lists the Pixel 10a 128GB at $449, the Pixel 10 starting at $599, and the Pixel 10 Pro from $749. For the Pixel 10 Pro XL 256GB, pricing lands at $949, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold shows up from $1,499. The Pixel 10 Pro XL 512GB in Obsidian comes in at $1,019—that’s $300 off its standard tag, according to 9to5Toys.
Accessories are getting price cuts, too. Google’s official Pixel 10 cases have been going for roughly 20% off on Amazon, according to 9to5Google. The Pixel 10/Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL cases are listed at $39.99, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold version comes in at $55.99. Pixel 10a cases are down to $23.99. All the cases support Qi2 wireless charging at full speed, the site noted.
Google is rolling out discounts for its Pixel lineup first introduced in August 2025. According to the company, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL debuted at $799, $999, and $1,199, with all three models powered by the Tensor G5 chip and Gemini Nano, Google’s on-device AI. The top-end Pro XL features a 6.8-inch screen, 16GB RAM, and supports 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging, details Google shared at launch.
The move gives Google a stronger pricing argument versus Apple and Samsung, the dominant players in high-end phones. Counterpoint data reported by Reuters put Apple ahead in the global smartphone race for 2025, claiming a 20% market share. Samsung followed closely at 19%. Looking ahead to 2026, analysts expect demand to cool off, citing chip supply snags and pricier parts.
For buyers, the catch is straightforward: prices fluctuate based on color, seller, and what’s actually in stock. Amazon’s page for the Obsidian 256GB Pixel 10 Pro XL listed it at $949 with immediate availability, but Droid Life cited a $899 entry price tied to certain colors. Cheaper open-box deals? Those can come with their own condition notes and return policies, especially compared with new units from Amazon.
The industry faces a larger threat as well. IDC projects a 12.9% drop in smartphone shipments for 2026, blaming higher memory-chip costs, Reuters said. IDC’s Francisco Jeronimo described the situation as a “tsunami-like shock” stemming from the memory supply chain. Short-term retail deals could end up looking more attractive, though that calculus gets messy if component price spikes start pushing up phone prices. Reuters
