Poland power grid cyberattack: New “DynoWiper” wiper malware points to Russia’s Sandworm
ESET has linked late December cyberattacks on Poland’s power grid to Russia-backed Sandworm, but no outages occurred. Hackers targeted two combined heat and power plants and renewable energy management systems using DynoWiper malware. Polish officials say new cybersecurity rules are being drafted. The Russian Embassy has not commented.
