The miner was among the weaker performers in the Australian materials sector on June 11. Australian shares ended lower on a tricky day for the market. The S&P/ASX 200 dropped 20.1 points, or 0.23%, to 8,633.2. The All Ordinaries also gave up 0.23% to finish at 8,836.7. Vantage senior market analyst Hebe Chen told AAP the moves show “risk appetite is wavering but not collapsing,” as investors picked up defensive and blue-chip stocks.
